- Skidmore's resident sitarist, Veena Chandra, and her son Devesh will present a free concert of Indian music at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, in Arthur Zankel Music Center. Don't miss these talented performers!
- Odissi dance expert Guru Sanchita Bhattacharya will perform Odissi, classical dance from East India, in a free performance April 30. The program also will include a dance demonstration by Skidmore students to Indian music by Veena Chandra, of the music department, and Devesh Chandra.
- Skidmore dance students, accompanied by sitarist/choreographer Veena Chandra, will perform Kathak Indian dance in a free performance Monday night.
- West African drumming and dance combine with Indian sitar music as two of Skidmore's top musicians bring international music to Zankel Music Center on April 28. Yacub Addy, Skidmore's NEA National Heritage Fellow, will join Veena Chandra and her son Devesh for this special concert.
