- A perennial crowd-pleaser, the Carnegie Hall Premieres Concert by Ensemble ACJW returns Oct. 21 in Zankel Music Center. Don't miss this performance by these gifted young musicians. Benjamin Givan will give a pre-performance talk at 7 p.m.
- Pianist Evan Mack, a new member of the Music Department faculty, will join the Skidmore College Orchestra in its first concert of the year, Oct. 17 at Zankel. Anthony Holland will direct the orchestra performance, which is free and open to the public.
- Ensemble ACJW comes back to Skidmore during the first week of October to perform again at Zankel and to work with students. Don't miss the Oct. 8 concert!
- Author Paul Harding and composer Jennifer Higdon, each of whom won a 2010 Pulitzer Prize, have more than a passing connection to Skidmore.
- Two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Clarence Page will visit Skidmore Wednesday, Feb. 15, to deliver the keynote lecture for the College's Black History Month celebration.
