Skidmore College will honor well-known Saratoga couple Marylou Whitney and John Hendrickson with the awarding of the college's Lucy Skidmore Scribner Medal. Named for the college's founder, the medal recognizes a selfless dedication to others, a capacity to imagine creative solutions to social problems, and a deep commitment to community.

Annual benefit, now in its 33rd year, to offer gourmet food, silent and live auctions, a polo match, and more all to raise funds for the Palamountain Scholarship Fund.

The signature artwork for this year's Palamountain Scholarship Benefit is the handiwork of Tom Myott, a painter known for his landscapes, portraits, and equine scenes. His action-packed painting of a Saratoga polo match--created specifically for Polo by Twilight--graces the cover of the event's invitation and program book. The original painting will be offered as part of the evening's fundraising auction.
