Hédi Jaouad

Hédi Jaouad, professor of French, delivered a lecture titled "Browning and the Unitarians" on April 13 at the National Arts Club in NYC. The talk, sponsored by the New York Browning Society, explored the role played by Unitarians in the transmission and understanding of Robert Browning's poetry and life philosophy in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Rebecca Bays

Rebecca Bays, assistant professor of psychology, is co-author of a study on the effectiveness of using mental imagery to enhance memory and decrease false memories. The results were reported in an article titled "False memories and the DRM paradigm: effects of imagery, list, and test type" in the Journal of General Psychology, Volume 143, Issue 1.

David Domozych
David Domozych

David Domozych, professor of biology, is author of a chapter titled, "Biosynthesis of the Cell Wall of the Algae" in the new book The Physiology of Microalgae (edited by M.A. Borowitzka, J. Beardall and J.A. Raven) published by Springer. This chapter describes the diversity of cell wall products derived from algae and their modes of synthesis.

Chris Mann

Chris Mann, assistant professor of government, was quoted in an April 15 article titled "Clinton, Sanders Take on Harsher Tones in the Debate Before the NY Primary" on the WAMC website. The story also aired on WAMC-FM. In addition, he was cited in "Things to know when voting in state's primary" in the April 17 Daily Gazette and "Politicals keeping mum on favored candidates on Tuesday" and "Precedent-setting presidential primaries to be held in New York on Tuesday," both in the April 17 Post-Star.
