Lisa Aronson

Lisa Aronson, associate professor emerita of art history, participated in a discussion of Ghanaian culture and art Aug. 23 at Bow Tie Cinemas in Saratoga Springs. The discussion followed the screening of the documentary Doing Jewish: A Story of Ghana. Aronson has visited Africa and taught on African art and the diaspora, Native America and pre-conquest Meso- and South America.

Diana Barnes

Diana Barnes, professor of world languages & literatures, was quoted in an Aug. 4 Daily Star story titled "Immigration raids polarize upstate town." Barnes, a member of the Saratoga Springs Human Rights Task Force and frequent visitor to Mexico, criticized recent raids and arrests by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.
