Eric Morser, associate professor of history, gave a talk about his book The Fires of New England: A Story of Protest & Rebellion in Antebellum America (2017, University of Massachusetts Press) and signed copies at Northshire Books in
Saratoga Springs on Oct. 20.

Linda Simon
Linda Simon, professor emerita of English, wrote an article titled "Flappers Took the Country by Storm, But Did They Ever Truly Go Away" in the September issue of Smithsonian Magazine. Simon is the author of Lost Girls: The Invention of the Flapper (2017, University of Chicago Press).

Erika Pujič
Erika Pujič, lecturer in dance, was the subject of a Q&A titled "The Language of Dance" in the Oct. 19 edition of the Albuquerque, N.M., Weekly Alibi. Pujič discussed a dance piece she choreographed in collaboration with Carl Landa,
accompanist in dance at Skidmore.
