As Skidmore's Workplace Safety Brochure indicates, Occupational Health & Safety is based on the premise that our employees and students are our most valuable asset and that every person is entitled to a safe and healthful place in which to work and live. Occupational hazard assessments, injury-prevention programs and health and safety training are other ways to help maintain an environment free of hazards for the entire community.

In addition, all reported workplace injuries are investigated in a timely manner to ensure that no unsafe conditions exist. We are dedicated to providing a safe work environment for all employees.
