African Heritage Awareness (AHA)

Mission

The African Heritage Awareness Club intends to increase awareness of the African cultural practices and diaspora by sharing knowledge among the Skidmore and Saratoga Springs community via discussions, events, talks, performances, workshops and focus weeks. During our general meetings, we inform students about varieties of topics from music, to economy, to clothes to food. More so, we hope to breach the underrepresentation of Africa in academics as well as sponsor African and Caribbean charities. You don't have to be African to come; we are all-inclusive. So come one, come all!

The African Heritage Awareness Club (AHA) meets every Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Intercultural Center (ICC).
