 SCOOP Canoeing (Canoe Camping)

"Believe me, my young friend, there is nothing—absolutely nothing—half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats".

Kenneth Grahame

canoeingSCOOP wilderness canoeing provides the perfect opportunity to experience nature at its best: traveling the Adirondack waterways by day, roasting marshmallows around the campfire at night and sleeping in tents under the stars. Your front-row seat to the crystal clear lakes and glorious vistas of forested mountains will leave you with fantastic memories and lifelong friends, a wonderful adventure as you begin your life at Skidmore. A peer advisor and an experienced licensed guide will accompany you to ensure your safety and enjoyment. Tents, canoes, paddles and mandatory life vests are provided. Come and play in the Adirondack waterways with us! This is a small trip 10 people max due to permitting in the Adirondacks.
