SCOOP WILDERNESS: Rock & River

Some of you may have already experienced the many adventures that the outdoors have to offer.  Others of you may be waiting for the chance.  Well here it is - The Skidmore Outing Club is offering a three-day rock climbing and whitewater river adventure!  These trips are open to anyone - whether you have had experience or not.  Trips are guided by Skidmore stduents and experienced, licensed guides who have Wilderness First Aid, and advanced outdoor training.  The trip includes rock-climbing instruction, a whitewater rafting trip, as well as an introduction to life at Skidmore.  Camping and sleeping under the stars will provide the perfect setting for getting to know fellow incoming students and working on leadership skills.  Although this program is open to beginners, it is for those who have a healthy sense of adventure, a respect for the outdoors, and a desire to challenge themselves.
