SCOOP Wilderness - Canoeing provides the perfect opportunity to experience nature at its best: traveling the Adirondack waterways by day, roasting marshmallows around the campfire at night, and sleeping in tents under the stars. Your front row seat to the crystal clear lakes and glorious vistas of forested mountains will leave you with fantastic memories and life-long friends--a wonderful adventure as you begin your life at Skidmore. A peer advisor and an experienced licensed guide will accompany you to ensure your safety and enjoyment.  Tents, canoes, paddles and mandatory life vests are provided.  Students who opt for this program will be provided with a list of camping needs.
