SCOOP Kayaking and Rafting

River  Night

The first river you paddle runs through the rest of your life.  It bubbles up in pools and eddies to remind you who you are.

_Lynn Noel

Join fellow first-year students for some Adirondack fun. This outdoor program offers exciting whitewater rafting and a day of lazy-river kayaking. All "river" equipment is provided. Please feel free to bring your guitar, fiddle, or other musical instrument to play around the camp fire at night.

You do not need previous rafting or kayaking experience, just a desire for adventure. You will stay overnight at the Inn at Gore Mountain, a rustic Adirondack retreat. The program is staffed by a college administrator and student peer advisors. Licensed New York State guides will staff your river adventures as well.
