Sandra M. Harran
Sandra M. Harran, died September 18, 2006, at Albany Medical Center. She was 67.
Sandra started working at Skidmore as an acquisitions assistant in Scribner Library in 1975. She was promoted to cataloging assistant in 1988 and retired in 1996. Fellow library retiree Mary K. O’Donnell recalled that Sandra had a “wonderful sense of humor.” She supervised student employees in cataloging, developed warm relationships with them, and maintained contact with several students over the years.
Sandra volunteered at the Corinth Free Library and enjoyed activities with friends and traveling with her husband (who died in 2001) and son Patrick Harran ’90.
Along with son Patrick, her survivors included an aunt, several nieces and nephews, and cousins.
