The Skidmore College Alpine Ski Team is a member of the Adirondack Conference of the USCSA; other conference members include: Clarkson, Colgate, Hamilton, RPI, UAlbany, and the West Point Military Academy.

We have five races from the middle of January to the end of February at Song Mt., Toggenberg, West Mt., Whiteface, and Labrador.

Tryouts are held in December, and skiers of all abilities are encouraged to tryout.

The team will train at Mount Snow in Vermont for a week in January just prior to the Spring semester.

The past year was very successful for both the male and female skiers. Two qualified for regional competition at Waterville Valley, NH and with strong recruiting for 2008 the goal is to qualify for nationals.
