Outings with the Skidmore Outing Club

Every weekend of the academic year, the SOC will lead at least one outdoor trip. These trips can range from day hikes, to outdoor rock climbing, to overnight winter camping, to whitewater rafting or caving. In addition to these activities, the SOC runs a climbing night every week at a local climbing gym, organizes trips to local ski mountains, hosts mid-week movie showings, provides the campus with regular barbeques, and is a stop on the international Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour.
