UWW > Faculty & Staff

Skidmore faculty can submit grades online as they do for Skidmore residential students. Please note that students must receive a grade (usually Incomplete) by the end of the term even if an independent study extends beyond the semester. If you assign a student an Incomplete, send the final grade to the student's advisor. Students assigned Incomplete grades are expected to complete courses in the following term, or an "I" will revert to a "W." Note that a "W" does not revert to an "F."

Assessments for final projects should be sent by email to the student's academic advisor. Faculty advisors have the option of awarding a pass (P) or pass with distinction (PD); second assessors grade on a pass-fail basis.

Let me just say that it has been a wonderful experience to lead this course. It has entailed enormous amounts of work for everybody, but from my perspective at least, it was worth every minute of it, as I learned quite a bit in the process. Although young adults are very interesting and refreshing, it was very satisfying for me to be able to discuss these texts with intelligent and well read more mature adults.
