Are
You Ready for Distance Education Online?
Not
all of our students take courses online.
If you're interested in taking advantage of the Web, these statements
are designed as a guideline to help you recognize the skills needed
to succeed in an online course enviornment. There
is no "absolute" level of readiness, but your agreement/disagreement
with these statements will help you identify strengths and weaknesses
in your approach to an online class. Feel free to print these
out and bring them with you to your admissions interview.

am able to easily access the Internet as needed for my studies.

am comfortable communicating electronically.

am willing to actively communicate with my classmates and instructors
electronically.

am willing to set aside an amount of time each week to effectively
engage with study.

feel that online learning is of at least equal quality to traditional
classroom learning.
