Linking to Specific Pages in the Catalog

WARNING: These links change every May when a new catalog is published. If you create links to specific courses, know that you will have to update them every year to prevent "Page Not Found" errors.

1) Go to the Catalog and search for your course, department, etc.

2) Click on the name of the item in the search results to expand the description.

3) Click on the center Share button, and then click on the Twitter button.

Step 1 - search for your course on the catalog, and then click the Share > Twitter button.

4) Copy the Bit.ly URL out of that popup, and paste it into a new browser tab, then hit enter. This will bring you to a page of the catalog listing only your desired item.

Step 2 - copy the Bitly URL and paste that into a new browser tab, then hit Enter.

5) Copy that URL and use it to make a link in your webpage.

Step 3 - copy the resulting URL to use to make links on your webpage
