Name: Allison Ross

Summary of Program: Studied arts and culture of Ghana. Lived in the two bigger cities of Ghana with host families, while taking classes at the Universities. Also traveled through entire country and stayed in smaller villages. Learned the language and got to spend a lot of time on your own while establishing strong relationships with the locals. Did an Independent study project about Ghanaian women in dance.

Would you recommend this program to other students?
"Yes, definitely. A lot was left up to the individual to make the trip work for them. There is a lot of freedom in the course structure as well as many challenges presented."
