Skidmore Funded Internship Opportunities

-SEE Beyond Awards are designed to encourage students to participate in field research, residencies, workshops, apprenticeships, productions, and internships that complement the student’s learning plan. Students must be nominated by the government department and then chosen in a college wide contest. The award is a $4,000 stipend, and funds may be used at the student’s discretion to cover participation fees or tuition, travel expenses, and summer room and board

Levine Internship Awards are offered on a competitive basis to support Skidmore students who wish to undertake government internships in fields related to the practice of American government, politics and/or law. ($3,000)

-Student Government Association’s Responsible Citizenship Internship Award provides Skidmore students with the opportunity to participate in unpaid internships to gain practical knowledge in their field of study and to further Skidmore College’s mission to encourage responsible citizenship. ($4,000)

-Career Services Summer Internship Awards Program provides Skidmore students with the opportunity to participate in unpaid internships, volunteer, or community service projects over the course of the summer. ($2,500) Their deadlines are typically in the beginning of April.
