SSP100 045 - SERIOUS GAMES: CONFLICT, VOTING AND POWER

Attendance Policies

Students who miss an exam due to illness (the only valid excuse) must contact me in advance, or risk losing the privilege of taking a make-up exam.

Learning mathematics requires one to proceed by small steady increments, each based on what has been previously learned. One cannot "cram" for a mathematics exam and expect to learn anything. For this reason, attendance is mandatory. Furthermore, it is very distracting and rude to repeatedly arrive late, leave early, or make frequent trips to the drinking fountain at crucial points of the lecture, so please avoid this behavior, and please make sure your cell phones are turned OFF in class. Your class attendance makes up part of the "class participation" segment of your grade.
