June Lake and Bennetville
June Lake lies on the eastern flanks of the Sierras. We were hoping to find a nice isolated little lake with no one around. Unfortunately it was a major tourist area with water recreation. It was still picturesque.
This is June Lake looking toward the eastern Sierras.
After lunch, we drove up Tioga Pass and hiked to Bennetville, a ghost town.
