Taft and Glacier Points

Our second day at Yosemite took us on a hike to Taft Point and a drive to Washburn and Glacier Points.

The trail to Taft Point goes through alternating woods and fields finally
coming out on this plateau. Taft Point is in the distance.

The plateau has these deep fissures running across it.

Late in the day we returned to the valley floor and sat by the Merced River to read.
