August 2, 2004 we loaded ourselves into our van and headed west on our Wyoming trip.  Barbara and I have traveled extensively in the United States and have been to Wyoming several times.  In recent years, we have camped extensively in Utah, Colorado, Montana and Idaho always skirting around Wyoming.  It has been several years since we have really camped and traveled there and several areas where we have not explored as much as we would have liked.   We decided to stay out until September 15 and take advantage of being free when school is in session. If you want to read the story of the trip, click on the link, Wyoming Trip 2004, and you will download an Adobe PDF file description of the trip.  If you do not have a PDF reader in your computer, click on the link and get a free copy of Adobe PDF Reader. The story of the trip is based on a daily journal that we keep on the trip. We alternate keeping the journal for each day.

If you click on the links in the left hand column of this web page you will see pictures that go along with the trip description or you can just look at the pictures and see some wonderful country.  There are close to 100 pictures in the collection, but they are split up into several individual downloadable units so the download time should not be too long even if you are using a telephone modem.

Enjoy the trip!  We sure did!
