On the side of the Flip camera, you will see the slide that ‘flips’ the USB plug out. Plug the camera into the USB port on the computer. Wait a moment for the Flipshare program to open.

4. Editing your movies
The FLIP comes with software that allows you to do some basic editing of your videos. First watch this to learn how to edit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLs8BN4kRKo

There may be hundreds of video clips of your filming. You will make a movie using these clips. Take your time and watch them and delete the ones you don’t want or trim them using the scissors. Once you’re done editing you will make a movie out of all the clips you’ve kept.

5. Create a Movie from your Clips

At the bottom of Flipshare click the Create Movie button. Now select all the clips you want and drag them into the window. Each clip gets labeled in numerical order. You can rearrange them if you want.
