GE 309 - Field Techniques
In the Fall 2005 semester the student teams designed, conducted, and completed research projects of their own interest. One team reconstructed the discharge from the July 2, 2005 Hadlock Pond dam breach and compared it to regional flood frequencies. The other team used 378 well logs to characterize better the surficial geology and the aquifer systems in the Kayaderosseras Creek watershed. Both projects were presented at the Northeastern Section Meeting of the Geological Society of America at Camp Hill, PA, held from March 20-22, 2006. Click on the projects below to view the posters. Warning, the files are large and may take several minutes to download.
