1. What is the institution's responsibility to provide computers for faculty and staff?

In the first IRTF Report, the College set the goal of providing a computer to all appropriate faculty and staff desktops. This goal was achieved within a few years of the report's publication. Now, the number of computers has far exceeded this count as employees request computers for:

• Laboratories and studios
• Classrooms
• Study rooms and departmental lounges
• Library carrels and study areas
• Home and laptops for travel

As a result, the pressure to acquire more computers did not diminish following the placement of computers on all desktops.
