Peer Tutoring Writing Prompt #3
In
argumentative writing, a single writer has to engage both sides of the topic
intellectually. Often times,
a Writing Center tutor can help you realize this aspect of argumentation by
serving as a physical embodiment of the opposition or, alternatively, playing
“devil’s advocate” to get you to articulate and support your position more
powerfully. Explain how the
meetings with your Writing Center-EN 103 tutor during the process of writing
the three mini-papers have helped you better understand and develop both sides
of the argument you have chosen to write about for paper #4.
This Tutoring Writing Prompt should be submitted on a rolling basis but NO LATER THAN Tuesday, 24 November.
