Paper 6: Graded Revision of Paper 4 OR Paper 5
As with our third paper, Paper 6 gives you the opportunity to refine your ideas though a focused and active revision process. However, as the last paper of the course, Paper 6 also gives you the opportunity to inform your revision with all the knowledge and understanding of news literacy that you have gained during the semester and craft a finished paper following all of the principles of clear and effective writing that we have discussed during the semester.
As you see the paper you have chosen "anew" to revise it, remember to consider it from the course perspective and position as your last EN 105 paper. A word of caution that bears repeating: revision is not simply a matter of change for change's sake; revision is not superficial changes nor thoughtless changes. Inappropriate revision can hurt a paper. A successful revision reflects thoughtful change(s).
You must turn in the original paper and my comments with your revision.
I will assess and grade Paper 6.
