Hello and Welcome! 


I am an Assistant Professor in the Psychology Department at Skidmore CollegeIn May 2002, I received a B.A. from Georgetown College
in both Psychology and Communication Arts.  I then attended graduate school at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and worked with Keith Rayner in the Eye-Tracking Laboratory.  In September 2004, I earned an M.S. in Cognitive Psychology.  In May 2007, I earned a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology, a Graduate Certificate in Cognitive Science, and a Graduate Minor in Quantitative Methods.  My primary research interests involve understanding the cognitive processes underlying reading in (1) normal skilled readers and (2) individuals with stroke-induced reading disorders.
