The final project is an opportunity to show off what you have learned about applying GIS to economic analysis of a given geographic place. It is a chance to combine the many aspects of GIS that we have covered this semester in order to explore an issue of interest.

The project will be graded on:
Creativity of the project
Explanation of the importance of what you have done and the conclusions to be drawn from your project
Degree of complexity and range of GIS skills contained in the project
Quality of the presentation of the project
The target audience for the project should be a student who does not necessarily have the same interests as you do
The final project may be related to the paper that you are writing for this or any other economics course that you are taking.

The final project is due December 18th.
