The post, bracket (thanks, Bob!), and 8" X 8" frame for the platform on which the Upper Yurt will be built. There will be a Lower Yurt, walls and ceilings, etc., that will surround the Upper Yurt, providing living, dining, and kitchen space. |

The wall sheathing for the Upper Yurt is being installed. Windows will be constructed in each of the 16 base-up triangles formed by the wall posts -- all the way around. The Upper Yurt is to be the bedroom, accessed by a spiral staircase. There will be a half-bath up there. |
