Skidmore is proud to employ a Coordinator for Students with Disabilities who works as a member of the SAS team to ensure eligible students are provided accommodations necessary to obtain full access to all Skidmore programs and activities. - Blackboard 9.1 Accessibility Statement and Resources - Blackboard was recently awarded a Nonvisual Accessibility Gold Certification from The National Federation of the Blind (NFB).
- WordPress and Accessibility - WordPress is the supported blogging platform at Skidmore. Although WordPress provides tools to make a blog or site accessible, not all WordPress themes follow the recommended accessibility standards. Here you can find information on making your blog accessible and for testing accessibility.
- iClicker - iClicker provides options to address a variety of student needs. Refer to this Voluntary Product Evaluation Template (VPAT) from iClicker for more detailed information on their efforts to meet the needs of all students.
- RefWorks - RefWorks provides a screen-reader compliant interface for Windows users and works with JAWS or MS Narrator. For additional information go to the Help section within RefWorks and search for Accessibility.
