The Barnacle Goose
Fall into Crashing Waves for Life’s Flight…
...Drop onto Soil and Sink Underground for Eternity.
Two birds growing from tree by its beak over water. One falls to the ground dead. The other flys away.
In the Northern Artic region, special trees do not produce leaves or fruit but instead birds that dangle from branches by their beaks. Such creatures are known as Barnacle Geese and their lives depend on the location of the trees from which they grow. As the Barnacle Goose matures and comes to full term it slowly sinks down from the branch to whatever surface lies below. With waves of flowing water comes eternal safety as the Barnacle Goose floats happily in the sea until its wings determine that it is time to leave. However, if the Barnacle Goose crashes down onto Earth’s rock then an untimely death it will see.
