Double Twisted Wire

Most common in the Hunter/Jumper disciplines

Probably the harshest bit on the market. The two wires create a pinching action against the tongue. The bit can pinch almost any tissue in the mouth that it touches. This bit should only be used by advanced riders with light hands. This bit should be the last resort for a horse with a very hard mouth.
