If there is a Lightning Storm in the immediate vicinity (you can hear or see it), power down the entire studio in this order:

• All Speaker Switches OFF on the speaker control box
• Mixers OFF
• All DAT machines OFF
• All Computer External Disk Drives OFF
• All Computers OFF
• All Synthesizer Modules OFF
• All Outboard FX gear OFF (compressors, gates, EQ, reverb, etc.)
• All Interface devices OFF (Digital Time Piece, MTPII's, Z systems)
• All machines OFF
• All power Strips OFF

The Studio should remain powered down until the storm is gone.
