General Information


Faculty/Staff Information

Medical plans
  • PPO plan copayment for PCP increases to $25.
  • Plan rates increase by 8.1%.
  • Gia virtual care now includes unlimited physical therapy ($0 copayment).
Prescription plans
  • No changes to copayments.
  • Small increase to annual out of pocket limit.
  • Reminder: Walgreens can fill a 90-day prescription for the same discounted price as mail-order.
  • Prior authorization on specialty drugs will be implemented for 1/1/22.
Dental plans
  • No changes to plan design.
  • No rate increase.
FSA
  • Elections into either FSA is required each year - annual elections DO NOT carry over.
  • Annual limit for the FSA Healthcare Reimbursement Account remains at $2,750, and the Dependent care limit remains unchanged at $5,000. Unused funds from 2021 will be rolled over to 2022 for this year only. (Typically, unused funds are forfeited after a set maximum rollover amount.)

Union Information

  • MVP has added a full eyewear program, administered by EyeMed. You will be mailed an EyeMed ID card and benefits guide.
  • $600 MVP Wellness Dollars (see below for details).
