IMPORTANT: Details regarding fall vaccination requirement for students: Submit by Aug. 1
Please note: The following instructions are for returning students in the classes of 2022, 2023 and 2024. Incoming students in the Class of 2025 will be submitting proof of vaccination through a separate process.
As the College announced in late May, all students must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before arriving to campus for
the beginning of the fall semester. Any vaccine that is approved by either the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or
the World Health Organization (WHO) meets this requirement.
A fully vaccinated student population will allow us to return to a campus where most
individuals do not need to mask and where we can attend classes, lectures, music performances,
theater and club meetings in person and with far fewer students needing to isolate
or quarantine. Together, we can create a vibrant, welcoming and engaged campus where
every student feels safe and valued.
Submitting proof of vaccination
All returning students must submit proof of COVID vaccination through this form by Aug. 1, 2021.
If you have already submitted proof of vaccination to Health Services, you do not
need to complete this form. You can verify this documentation by checking your Health
Portal account.
Applying for a medical or religious exemption or an extension
To begin the process of applying for an exemption based on medical or religious grounds,
or for an extension of the Aug. 1 deadline due to difficulties accessing an approved
vaccine, complete this form by Aug. 1.
If you have questions or concerns regarding the safety and efficacy of the COVID-19
vaccines, please contact Skidmore Health Services.
If Health Services does not have a record of your COVID vaccination or exemption status,
you will receive an email reminder.
Failure to meet this College requirement will jeopardize eligibility for campus housing,
participation in athletics, access to campus and/or ability to study abroad. Please
reach out to Health Services with any questions.
We wish you all a happy and healthy summer and look forward to seeing you in the fall.
