Mission

The Council’s mission will focus on increasing the presence (and impact) of diversity and inclusion initiatives across disciplinary boundaries. Specifically, the Student Advisory Council will help to bridge the gap between students, faculty, and staff by providing a formal and informal space to network, exchange ideas, share research on best practices, create an outlet for student input on campus climate and discuss innovative approaches to teaching and learning.
