Liberty
League playoff berths will be on the line this weekend when
the field hockey and men’s soccer teams host conference
rivals. The field hockey team is tied with Ithaca for first
place and will face the Bombers at 4 p.m. on Friday. The men’s
soccer team hosts RIT on Friday at 4 p.m. and Ithaca at 2 p.m.
with six league points available.

Stewart’s
Shops and Skidmore College are teaming up! Together we will be
introducing a Skidmore-inspired ice cream flavor in spring
2020, and we’re relying on our creative College community to
help us determine the flavor and name that best represent
Skidmore. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, the
Skidmore Shop will be hosting a Stewart's ice cream
tasting and invites you to vote on which flavor will be the
Skidmore flavor.

daughter Jaime Guttenberg was killed in the mass shooting at
Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Floriday,
will speak at 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 16, in Gannett
Auditorium.

Teen Studio: Moving Images
These
teen focused workshops give space for teens to explore
art, make art and meet new friends. Programming is free and

Connect concert
Ensemble
Connect, a group of young professional classical musicians
based in Carnegie Hall, celebrates its 13th year at Skidmore
with a concert at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, in Zankel Music

Harvest" black box production
"The
Harvest" by Samuel D. Hunter, directed by Artist-in-Residence
John Michael DiResta, will be performed at 8 p.m. Oct. 18-24
in the Janet Kinghorn Bernhard Theater. Tickets

Scholars concert
The
Filene Scholars Concert will feature the 2019 winners of the
Skidmore Filene Music Scholarship at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19,
in Zankel Music Center. The concert is free and open to the
public.

Pollack of the Moores School of Music at the University of
Houston will discuss Jewish American composers Kern, Berlin,

legacy of Jewish immigration impinged dramatically on American
