Tween Saturday
workshop
Tween
Saturday workshops at the Tang allow kids ages 10 to 13 to
engage in deeper discussions about artworks in the museum�s
current exhibitions and explore their ideas further through an
art project. Programming is free and materials are included.

Berlin Wall project on
campus
To mark the 30th anniversary of the
fall of the Berlin Wall on Nov. 9, 1989, students in WLL 263C
� The Berlin Wall will build a mini version of the Berlin
Wall across a
pedestrian path near Case Center, between Scribner Library and
Murray-Aikins Dining Hall. The wall will remain on campus
until Nov. 9, when it will be torn down. The project is
intended to invite conversations and reflections about walls
in history and our own time. For more information, contact Petra

Epidemic�
Matt McCarthy, assistant professor of
medicine at Weill Cornell and a staff physician at New
York-Presbyterian Hospital, will discuss his new book,
�Superbugs, The Race to Stop an Epidemic,� at 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 5, in Davis Auditorium in Palamountain Hall. It
is a joint event with Northshire Bookstore and McCarthy's book
will be on sale after the lecture in Gannett
Lobby.
