17th-ranked women’s tennis team hosts Wellesley at 1 p.m.

Tang Teen Studio
Tang Teen Studio is a new,
teen-focused workshop led by Skidmore student assistants at
the Tang Teaching Museum in which teens are invited to explore
art, make art and hang out. The workshop from 6 to 9 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 27, follows the Winter/Miller Lecture with
Wangechi Mutu. Teens are encouraged to attend both the lecture

On Friday, Feb. 28, the Career
Development Center will host 86 students who will interview

job vacancies at this Skidmore-exclusive

Panel: Sustainability 2020 and
Beyond
Jenny Briot (Avangrid Renewables),
Karen Kellogg (Environmental Studies and Sciences Program),
Tracy Martin ’05 (Otto's Market and Germantown Laundromat) and
Ashley McEvoy ’09 (National Park Foundation) will discuss how
sustainability matters in their personal and professional
lives in a panel moderated by Catherine Hill, teaching
professor of management and business, and Levi Rogers,
director of sustainability programs and assessment, from 5 to
6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, in Davis Auditorium. A reception
and networking with sustainability-focused organizations will
follow the panel, which is sponsored by the Department of
Management and Business, the Office of Sustainability and the
Career Development Center.

nominated using an online
form or by sending a letter to Dean of Students and
Vice President for Student Affairs Cerri Banks by 4
p.m. Monday, March 23. The awards will be presented at the
annual Student Leadership Banquet on Thursday, April
30.

Soccer Without Borders

The Skidmore men’s and women’s soccer
teams are hosting a soccer camp for boys and girls ages 6 to
12 from Monday, April 13, to Friday, April 17. All proceeds
will go to Soccer Without Borders, a not-for-profit
organization that focuses on bringing education to
underprivileged communities around the world. Register

Out of the Darkness suicide
prevention walk
The third annual Out
of the Darkness walk for suicide prevention and awareness
will begin at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 26, at Case Center
Green. Registration is free and the walk is open to the
community. Sign up or donate online to help reach the $5,000
fundraising goal. Registration will also be available on-site
at 1 p.m. the day of the walk.
