Health, wellness, fitness, and athletics facility open forum
All members of the Skidmore community are encouraged to attend an in-person open forum on plans for a new campus health, wellness, fitness, and athletics vision and facility from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30, in Gannett Auditorium. Learn more about this important initiative for Skidmore’s future, its connection to the Campus Master Plan, and the next steps in the project. Representatives of Cannon Architects will be present to share the latest renderings and answer questions from community members.
President’s office hours
President Conner will hold open office hours from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1, and from 2 to 3 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 12. All faculty, staff, and students are invited to request a 10-minute appointment. To register, please email presoff@skidmore.edu. Requests will be handled in the order they are received. Additional open office hours will be announced throughout the year.
Junior Admissions Workshop
As an employee, you have access to the exclusive Junior Admissions Workshop, which offers insider advice about applying to colleges. Tang Bazaar returns Friday, Dec. 9
The annual Tang Holiday Bazaar, a marketplace for Skidmore students to sell a variety of wares, including art, jewelry, clothing, and pottery, will take place from 3:30 to 6 p.m. in the Tang Teaching Museum on Friday, Dec. 9.
November Write-Ins in Writing Center
To celebrate National Novel Writing Month, Scribner Library and the Writing Center have partnered to host write-ins in the Writing Center from 8 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29. A Writing Center tutor will be present to motivate and support writers. Contact Hannah Matecko-Conti for more information.
