  • Collaborative Research typically covers 100% of students room and board charges.
  • Fully funded international students should check with the Student Academic Services office to see if they qualify for a 70% subsidy for summer housing and meals.
  • Not all, but SOME summer jobs include a 70% subsidy for summer housing and meal charges.  Subsidies typically require a minimum number of hours worked per week to qualify for the subsidy.  Students are responsible for the 30% balance of room and board.  Check with your hiring supervisor to see if a subsidy is included in your job.
  • Opportunity students should check with the Opportunity Program to see if they qualify for additional subsidies.

On your summer housing application, you will be asked to indicate if you expect to be receiving a Summer Housing Subsidy from one or more of the following.  You must provide the department and contact so that we may verify you qualify for the subsidy.
