Federal CARES Act Emergency Student Funding Information

Skidmore College has received $820,317 in Emergency Financial Aid Grants for Students as part of the Federal CARES Act.

Skidmore has awarded $313,829 to 227 students as of May 14, 2020. 

The requirements for this Federal eligibility include US Citizenship (or US Permanent Residency status), Title IV Federal student aid eligibility (FAFSA filers, of which Skidmore has 1,341 for 2019-2020), with funding priority based on family financial need (such as qualify for the Federal Pell Grant). 

US Citizens and eligible non-citizens who have filed a 2019-2020 FAFSA have been sent two emails with a link to the application for funding. Applications will continue to be reviewed on a funds-available basis. If you have questions please email the financial aid office at finaid@skidmore.edu.
