Elizabeth Woodbury Kasius

Dance Musician Elizabeth Woodbury Kasius is a pianist and composer who received her
formal musical training at the University of Washington and Cornish College of the
Arts in Seattle, where she studied ethnomusicology, jazz piano performance and composition.
She holds a BA in African Studies from Brown University. Elizabeth has been working
with dancers for over 15 years, and her scores have been used for numerous dance performances
in the region and beyond. She performs regularly with the world jazz group Heard.
