Conservation

The College expects everyone to do their part to conserve energy, supplies and equipment. Turn off lights, computers and monitors when they are not needed, plug appliances into power cords that you can turn off to eliminate standby power, and use only those supplies needed to do the job. Also, be sure to report promptly to your Supervisor or Facilities Services (518-580-5860) any leaky faucets, machinery that needs repair, or any other matter that requires maintenance. Please contact the Sustainable Skidmore Office if you have any questions regarding sustainability and energy conservation on campus, sustainability@skidmore.edu.

If you have questions or require additional information with respect to any Handbook content, please contact Human Resources (extension 5800).
