JUMPER DIVISIONS
Nominating Fee: $175
Nominating Fee for Children’s/Adult Jumper: $100
To be eligible to compete in the Open Jumper Divisions, Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper, Grand Prix, and 1.40 Jumper Classic horses must be nominated
and pay the nominating fee of
$175
by the start of the horse show. To be eligible to compete in the Children’s/Adult Jumper Division horses must be
nominated and pay the nominating fee of
$100
by the start of the horse show.
Horses showing only in Training Jumper Classes and YJC Classes,
TAKE2 TB Classes, and Modified Junior/A-O Classes are exempt from the nominating fee. Jumper classes
will be run in accordance with USEF,
USHJA and Zone 2 specifications unless otherwise stated.
All Horses
competing in Jumper classes must be recorded with the USHJA in accordance with
Rule JP 101.2.
Ties:
In the event of an equal quantity of faults for other than first place, final placement will be determined by the time taken to complete
the first round course.
Courses:
In all jumper classes, courses may consist of any of the following: brush, gates, oxers, post and rails, water, liverpool,
ditch, wall, panels, coops, and combinations (doubles and triples). See USEF JP120.
Attire:
Correct attire must be worn at all times. The Management,
at its discretion, may allow riders to compete without riding coats. If a riding coat is not worn, riders must wear a shirt with a collar or choker, neatly
tucked into riding breeches. A raincoat may be worn if conditions require. In all cases, riders must appear neatly attired.
Declarations of horses must be
made the day before the classes are to be run.
The Horse Show office will remain open 1/2 hour after the last class each day.
