« Previous Page Table of Contents Next Page »• Student peer advocates at the Center are mandated to report for statistical purposes all incidents of sexual misconduct that are disclosed to them. This report is made to Campus Safety and will not include any information that could identify the reporting student. However, when a Student Peer Advocate reasonably believes that an individ ual’s safety is at risk, they will discuss the report with members of the Student Coun seling Center and/or Health Promotions staff to determine what information from the report must be shared with administrators at the College responsible for ensuring campus safety. In these situations, student peer advocates will make every effort to let the student know in advance and offer to go with the student to help facilitate an appropriate campus response.
In addition, a Title IX complaint can be filed with the United States Department of Edu-cation, Office of Civil Rights.
