INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—The Skidmore College women's tennis team will face CUNYAC champion Baruch College in at Amherst College on Friday, May 13 in the first round of the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament.

Amherst (11-8) is the host for the regional round as an at-large selection from the NESCAC. Â The Skidmore (12-5)/Baruch (12-3) winner will play Amherst on May 14 in round two. The other half of the regional has TCNJ (16-2) playing Nazareth (9-4) on Friday, with the winning facing Tufts (16-3) on Saturday. Saturday's winners will play in the regional final on Sunday. All times are TBA.

The Thoroughbreds make their 15
th consecutive NCAA Tournament and are in the tournament for the 25th time in program history. Skidmore won the 1998 NCAA. This season's team is ranked 30th nationally and defeated #28 Vassar 5-4 in the Liberty League Championship match on Sunday to earn the automatic bid.Â

th, and TCNJ is 38
th.

There are 49 teams in the single elimination event. The teams will play a single-elimination tournament with the first, second- and third-rounds played at regional sites, Friday-Sunday, May 13-15, or Thursday-Saturday, May 12-14.

The United States Tennis Association, Oglethorpe University and the Greater Orlando Sports Commission will host the team championships finals, which will be held May 23-25 at USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida. Student-athletes selected to the individual championships will be announced Wednesday, May 11.
